Memory River
MEMORY RIVER
Looking out upon this sunny day,
We all put our hands together and pray.
We pray to taake away the bad and the good be restored,
Deep down in our hearts wonder what it's good for.
A loved one is lost and we want him back,
Our minds are mystified and our hearts under attack.
Although this tragedy is hard on us all,
We must help each other to stand tall.
Take these band feelings and turn them into good,
Not because we want to, but because we should.
So now it's time for us to say out last goodbye,
Remember that it's our bodies, not our spirits that die.
